Well, this is a bit of a tricky question.
Most of the time, being between 6.5 and 7 months of you pregnancy is the best time. Your belly is big enough to be seen and yet you still have some energy to move around.
For some ladies, even at 7 months, their bellies are still very small. So, maybe 7.5-8 months might be a good idea. Yet, I would like to warn you not to wait too long...sometimes, it is just too late because your baby has another idea!
In any case, and especially in you want a session during week-ends, book your session well in advance as they are booked fast!
I know when your baby has finally arrived after so much waiting, the photography session is not your first thing in mind.
But, ideally the session should take place during the first 5-10/15days. Why?
-it might take you 5 days to have enough milk to satisfy your baby's appetite and mood!
-because most babies are still sleeping a lot a this age, so if you are after those cute pictures where the baby is asleep, this is best during this timeline.
Preferably, you will book a session for 5 days after your due date. However, especially for Newborns session, the definitive booking date is always flexible since their arrivals are always a surprise!
Of course, later on, a baby can still be asleep sometimes but it will be much more difficult to change her/his clothes without waking her/him up. Some curly positions might become tricky as well. So, the longer you wait, the higher chance your baby will be awake during the session but open eyes make gorgeous pictures too!
So keep in mind the type of pictures you would like, and if you have any doubts, feel free to contact me.
Just fill your details and the session you are interested in on the contact form and I will be in touch very soon. You can also contact me via my Facebook page.
If possible, I always like to meet my future models ideally at your place if it is where the session will take place (so I know what to expect and bring the proper equipment needed during the session).
During this meeting, we will be able to get to know each other and I will answer your questions. I will also give you a contract to read and sign.
Once you have signed and sent the contract, and to definitively book a precise date*, a deposit of 30% of the session price will be asked.
(*)Please note for newborn sessions, as an exact date is virtually impossible, I need your expected delivery date for my agenda. The shooting date will be adjusted depending on your Little One's desire to arrive on time...or not!
To book definitively a date, a 30% deposit of the session price is required via bank transfer. This is non refundable if you wish to cancel later on.
The rest should be paid within one week after the session, preferably by bank transfer.
I will start working on your pictures after receiving your final payment.
After receiving your 30% deposit, I will send you some related informations (clothing/props/session process) depending on the sessions you booked.
And, should you have any extra questions, please be in touch!
I hear this a lot and so far it has never been a problem. I need two things for a session: happy people and natural light.
And I am pretty sure you have windows in your home!
For the rest, it is part of my job to know what to do and how to set up the sessions.
Most of the time, the session duration is enough.
Just make sure you are ready when I arrive!
But should you wish to extend the session, the price is 25€/30min.
Well, then be in touch and let's see if this is possible!
I am always interested in trying new things.
Sometimes, a place has a special meaning for you whether it is THE place for asking THE question, or where you met or any other reasons.
I am always happy to shoot at the location of your choice.
Keep in mind few things:
- we need to find the right day for it so make sure to book in advance
- some travelling costs might be required
- you should arrange and pay the location fees yourself
- you are reliable for any extra costs required (Visas...)
If you want to plan your session outside, it is obviously depending on the weather...which is quite unpredictable here!
I always checked the weather two days before the session, and check with you whether you are happy to do the session (or not) according to the forecast.
If not, we need to reschedule. Please, keep in mind that my agenda might not be completely open but I will do my best to find a very suitable time for you.
Tip: when you pick an outside location, always try to see if there is an inside backup-up plan possible nearby.
You will be able to select your pictures from a low definition gallery on my website within 2 weeks after receiving your final payment.
You then need to tell me which pictures you are interested in, and I will make sure they are ready within two days for you to upload.
If some extra editing is required, the date agreed within the contract is the date when you will receive your pictures.
You will receive your selected edited pictures in HD quality.
I will send you a link to upload them from my website.
Depending on the packages you bought, a fixed number of pictures is included.
Any extra pictures will be 15€ , incl BTW.
Well, yes and no.
By law, any photographers keep all the rights of their pictures. It means you can do a lot of things with them, but not everything, even though you paid your session.
Yes, you can share them via your family, your friends.
Yes, you can print them, make photo albums, hang them on the wall...
No, you cannot sell them.
No, you cannot claim them as your own.
No, you cannot use them on social media without any credit without my agreement.
Ideally, you will use the pictures with my watermarks visible to post on any social media (a copy of all your pictures with watermarks will be provided for free).
If you do not, you need to at least credit me, or my fb page or my website and this needs to be visible for everyone.
But it works the same the other way around: I cannot publish a picture of you on any on my social media accounts or on my website without your consent.
This is not me being difficult, just the new European GDPR law...
Well the easiest way is to check the prices in the packages sessions in the menu, as it depends from each session type.
It might be possible to implement a special listing price for a session which is NOT listed here. In this case just contact me.
I am very transparent with my prices and happy to discuss it with you.
The light editing is always included in all the packages for free.
For the extensive editing, I need to know what are your expectations and what the situation is. With this informations, I will give you a detailed pricing.
Generally speaking, my hourly rate is 80€/h.
But, keep in mind that :
-editing works will be usually much shorter
-most of the time, I have to redo the all work for every pictures. I cannot copy paste an edited picture to an unedited one!
So depending on your budget, selecting your favorite pictures after the session can help you control your budget.
Please, check the related page to see more informations. Go down to the bottom of this page and click on "Few things about editing ".
A Maternity & Newborn combined session price is indeed cheaper than buying each of them separately.
Should only one session happen, then you will pay the regular price of the session you had only.
In the case you should give birth prematurely, and the maternity session cannot happen, please be in touch asap. This is a very special situation and I am happy to find a suitable solution in this stressful time.
Most of the time, the session duration is enough.
Just make sure you are ready when I arrive!
But should you wish to extend the session, the price is 25€/30min.
