EDITING PICTURES
What is included & what could be done at your request.
The idea behind the editing is not to remove your mother-in-law or an old boyfriend from a picture…
The aim of my light editing is to remove the tiny imperfections, which can transform a picture.
We all know the devil is in the details: small bruises, small scratches on a baby face or the linea nigra during pregnancy for instance can all be edited.
These tiny editing are free and done at your request only.
Sometimes, a more extensive editing is asked: a belly with lots of stretch marks, intensive work to smooth the (face) skin or removing items from a background (plug/frame on a wall…). These editing are not included in the sessions prices. I can also do this but it really much depends on what you ask exactly. They do require different amount of editing time and the best is to talk about it during the session. It is easier to judge with my own eyes knowing the exact situation than giving a random price.
Also sometimes, being creative means extensive editing can be avoided.
For instance, a pregnant lady might have lots of stretch marks and yet would like some picture of her bare belly: the use of transparent fabrics is just perfect for it.
I always come to the sessions with props so in this case no extra editing will be required, just a bit of planning 😉
During the session, I will first ask what you would like (or not) and if these improvements are included in the session price.
In any cases, the best is to talk about it.
Do not be shy or afraid of the costs: you can ask for one picture, two pictures or all pictures. You decide. I will then send you a detailed extra pricing for confirmation before doing any extensive editing.
It is also very much possible to choose from your favorite pictures afterwards and ask an extensive editing. You will be sent again a detailed extra pricing, which you need to agree, before I start any extra editing work. Generally speaking, I edit at 80€/h, incl. VAT.
