ABOUT ME
You might not have guessed from my first name, but I am French!
My mom looked for something unique since several Astrid were born the same day at the clinic.

It was and still is very unique for a French:
most of people cannot write my name without 3 mistakes at least!
And since it is too long, everyone calls me Astrid anyway (even Her!).
THE FRENCHY
As so many expats, I came back to the Netherlands for my husband-to-be. I actually met him here before moving to Scotland, and yes he is French as well.
So I came back. It has been 11 years now...time really flies!
We are also the proud parent of an 8 year old daughter.
I have been moving around quite a bit:
-studied at 4 different places all over France
-lived 3 years in Scotland (still cannot handle Whisky....I know shameful!..)
-visited many countries but still three continents to go to....well Anticartica might have to wait a bit!
I Speak fluently French, English, can follow Ducth & answer (with mistakes!).
And say hello & thank you in few extra languages!

THE ANIMAL LOVER
We are real animal lovers. I convinced my husband to have fishes once...
We are now a family of
-3 humans
-4 ragdoll cats: Patafix, Lylie, Zorro & Barry
-3 Silkies Chickens: Cassis, Clara & Caline
-3 ducks (1 rescue in the egg and 2 Running Indians): Carlmelito, Caramel & Carabistouille
-18 fishes
-an ever changing number of schrimps
and this year we even got a nest of Doves and one of Blue Tits (yes, it is a real bird name!)...

Oh yeah, I do have super powers...
One of them is to detect any cameras or lenses around me...and then run, hide, pretend I am dying or anything which comes up to my mind, to avoid anyone taking pictures of me... I am one of those shy extrovert who hates pictures! So I let you imagine the challenge to have a picture of me here!
Another one would be to understand any shy person in front of a lens and having the ability to put you at ease. I will let you discover this ability during the session!
